Spring break has come and gone and we've seen our third annual Firefighter Cadet Camp. It is part of the "create your own fun" island lifestyle. Every year a bunch of firefighters get together with a gaggle of island kids to get out the gear and run the kids through the paces, including first aid, auto extraction, high angle rescue, personal protection, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, foam, trucks and pumps and of course some great lunches prepared by the woman's auxiliary . This is hands on, action packed and fast paced. I am not sure who has more fun the adults or the kids!
