Work & Party (workparty) minus the work and we're good to go!

Friday night was Jules birthday, so we mustered up some post twelve hour work week energy (twelve hours mostly taken up with golfing and walking in the park) for a get together which turned out to be fabulous mostly thanks to Amanda, our new "queen of the cake"!
Above is the "friends of Tuck society" and guest getting things set up around Dog Patch.
Above is our illustrious leader showing the next generation how to roast petroleum food products.

As of tonight the very secret and exclusive "Dog Patch" fire pit will be going full swing.
Bring your own: chairs, firewood, matches, drinks (enough to share with Doug), snacks (chips are best, but don't let you know who catch you sharing them with you know who or you will get the stink eye from you know who), warm blankets, paper, kindling, and parents. I will provide the relentless banter.

Of course, you must be in possession of the secret password to get by the green house guards at the top of "Dog Patch".

Our social convener, Renaud
will be in charge of selecting worthy "friends of Tuck society" members this summer and granting the coveted password. Hint: Renaud likes lego, candy and potato chips and we're not above bribery down here.

A Buck Named Tuck

"Tuck"

As some of you're aware, Judith is building a very "large" fence around her compound. Some would think it was for gardening, however those in the know, know. Tuck is coming for dinner.
Tuck will be living in luxury at our world headquarters and treated like a king for several week or months inside the compound before joining us for the celebration of "Tuck". Photo taken outside our front door. Details at eleven.

Office War

Office War

Judith was out digging fence poles around her one and a half acre garden, so we decided to have some fun around the office.

Walking, Talking, and Cacti!

Yup, I kid you not, that is a cacti with flowers found out in nature in a special location on our rock. Crazy huh! Cacti growing on the east coast of the big island. It is a real treat to see them with flowers so Judith thought a photo was appropriate for those of you who cannot be with us here in paradise.

Hard At Work As Usual

Look mom, I have a J.O.B.
Judith has assigned me to the new research and development arm of her empire. She feels I am best suited for a more creative position, after returning from trains, planes, and automobiles. She says it is a well deserved reward, and called it "putting in your time, and ^%$ kissing"!
So here I am on assignment researching better ways to work. This is an example of a control study we're preparing to do as part of our continual twelve hour work week study which is in its fourth year.
The hypothesis is by surrounding yourself with very expensive hand woven mohair blankets and listening to birds sing on sunny days in the shady garden you actually can accomplish more than someone stuck in traffic commuting to the city from suburbia talking on a cell phone and doing push emails.
My first test is to see how many repeat phone calls I get before people give up and just send payment without receiving goods or services in advance. I am taking this from a page in the "pay it forward" theory. You send us money and we will contact you during the twelve hours per week to find out what exactly you wanted from us. I like to think of this as a paradigm shift in B2C relationships.
I will of course publish my results later "when I find some time within the twelve hours" on the "change this" website, where all the cool kids go for smart answers!
So anyway, that is all the time I have for now, but stay tuned for the "tea study" results. "How tea at three o'clock after my nap and gourmet lunch changed my work habits forever" It is a real wing dinger.
FYI, Judith is also commissioning a new study this year if you're interested in being part of the focus group? It is called "running a champagne empire on a beer budget"!

Kill A Cow Friday

Every week we host Kill A Cow Friday
"An event that is not for the faint of heart"
It all began in the Greek ghetto many years ago when Pantyman discovered his two great passions, shopping for the finest cut of beef in the city when he should have been scouting locations for some totally lame ass TV show or movie about something unbelievable at best, and the BBQ, his sacred possession that gets him through the week!
With the loyal support of his wife, two children and the other families within the gated community "the compound", every Saturday they humour Pete (not me, the other one) as he sets up even in snow for another spiritual BBQ featuring two inch thick steaks from his secret beef source, Jolly Foods "opps, sorry Pete everyone knows now".
So after many sad and lonely Saturday nights away from the Greek Ghetto not knowing what I would do without Pantyman, and after a pain staking search for meat that would rival Pantyman's we have found our version of Saturday! "Kill A Cow Friday"
FYI, Saturday is movie night at the community hall, so you see it had to be Friday, even though this one guy "Peanut" that operates heavy machinery (Patron Saint of Heavy Machinery actually) thinks we should have it on Wednesday night because he works weekends, one would wonder if he thinks the world revolves around him!
Anyway,
it is nothing close to Pantyman Saturday, but it will have to suffice, being on a little island where all we can find is free range grass feed drug free cows that graze on acres of waterfront property over looking endless sunsets!
We now have a formula that is working and the four founding members seem sufficiently suffonsified! We currently have a Sommelier (AKA Mixologist),
BBQ Commodore, BBQ Rear Commodore, and a Social Convener.
So if you want to come to "Kill A Cow Friday" and you are either an ex-pat from Pantyman Saturdays or have the ability to operate heavy machinery, dig fence post holes 2 feet deep in less than two minutes through solid rock, pick rocks faster than Judith, or weed the garden endlessly, feel free to fill out a membership application, find a female sponsor (men cannot be trusted when it comes to meat), be interviewed in person at the Greek Ghetto by the famous Pantyman (must bring sacred offering of beer of course), and shower the founding members with gifts of chocolate, salt, wine, etc, etc, etc at there doorstep ever morning until they feel you are worthy. "Kill A Cow Friday" may be just what you've been searching for!
I am sure this is how the Mason's got started! ;)
